We are based in the heart of Portugal, in Guimarães, a region recognized throughout the world for the quality of its home textile products. https://www.micasaestucasa.pt/pt/

Dyeing process
JF ALMEIDA PORTUGAL - Our path to Sustainability: We work with Premium pigments and sustainable dyeing processes. The reduction in water consumption is thanks to three pillars: We optimize the dyeing processes. We recycle and reuse water. We invest and update our machinery to make it increasingly more efficient. It is also very important for us to reduce our carbon footprint in our daily lives. We are reducing our energy consumption every year and are introducing the use of green energy, installing, for example, solar panels. We have OEKO-TEX quality certification: all our fabrics are free of harmful substances.
Packaging and transport
- We deliver orders by truck.
- In every step we take we try to reduce our environmental footprint as much as possible
- Packaging made with recycled materials and with FSC certificate.

What is waffle weave?
Waffle is a type of fabric with a three-dimensional structure that creates small cells similar to a honeycomb. This construction provides:
- Greater lightness
- High absorption
- Faster drying
- Decorative and natural texture
Garment washing softens the fabric and gives it a relaxed drape, reinforcing its Mediterranean and timeless aesthetic.
A versatile collection for the whole house
Our organic cotton washed waffle collection includes:
- Organic cotton tablecloth
- Lightweight and decorative plaids
- Bedspreads with natural texture
- Decorative cushions
- Waffle curtains
These pieces are designed to combine with each other and bring warmth, texture and harmony to any room.
Sustainability in every fiber
Using 100% organic cotton reduces environmental impact and ensures a healthier, more responsible fabric. We are committed to conscious production and durable finishes that improve with use.
Choosing a waffle home from Aiguavista means choosing a more natural, light and respectful home.
Mediterranean texture, timeless style
The washed honeycomb provides volume without weight, structure without rigidity, and a fresh aesthetic that fits in both minimalist environments and warmer spaces.
A simple way to add depth and naturalness to your home with sustainable materials.
